The Annual Milbank Oral Interp Invitational will be held at Milbank High School on Monday, October 4, 2021. 

Entries and Regulations

Registration closes Friday, October 1st at 4:00PM. Because this is an after-school event and we want to get students home at a reasonable hour, NO student may be entered or participate in more than 2 events under any circumstances.  Each division will follow the rules that the SDHSAA has established.  That includes the 10-minute time limit for all events except storytelling (Hope), which is 5-minutes.  If your readers’ theatre groups require specific chairs or stools, be sure to bring them with you.

Schedule

The following schedule will be utilized:

2:35-3:00—Registration in Theatre

3:00—General Meeting

3:20—Round I

4:35—Round II

5:50—Round III

Pizza, beverages, candy, & baked goods will be for sale at MHS at the concession stand. 

7:15—Results or ASAP     

One judge is required for every five entries or fraction thereof. A hired judge will cost $60.00.   All fees and judge requirements are final as entries show on Friday, October 1^st at 4:00 PM. Because finding judges is one of my primary stressors in hosting the meet, the more judges you can bring, the less stress I will experience. I will truly appreciate it.
