Welcome to the 2021 WVSDA State Tournament!

This year's tournament will include:

*A Congressional Debate/NSDA House tournament on Saturday, 6 March 2021.

*An asynchronous speech tournament for the following prepared speech events: Declamation, Dramatic Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Informative Speaking, Oral Interp, Original Oratory, Poetry Interpretation, Program Oral Interpretation, and Prose Interpretation. Competitors must make links to videos available by Tuesday, 9 March, at 12:00 PM, and those videos will be judged preliminarily on Wednesday (beginning @ 12:00 PM), Thursday, and Friday, 10-12 March 2021, as judges have time. Final rounds of those events will be judged on Saturday, 13 March 2021 for events with more than 9 entries. Students entered in Oral Interp may not enter Prose or Poetry as individual events.

*A synchronous speech and debate tournament on Friday and Saturday, 12-13 March 2021, that includes the following events: Broadcasting, Extemporaneous Speaking, Impromptu Speaking, Lincoln Douglas Debate and Public Forum Debate.
