Rose City Tournament

2021 — NSDA Campus, OR/US

All of this information (and more is in the invite), however, here is the TLDR version.

Welcome to the 7th Annual Rose City Tournament held online, February 24-27, 2021.

The following events will be offered:
Asynchronous IE’s (Wed-Sat) – ADS, DI, DUO, HI, Info, OO, Poetry, POI, Prose, Radio
Live IEs (Fri-Sat) – Impromptu
Congress (Fri-Sat)
Debate (Sat) – Lincoln Douglas, Parliamentary, Policy, Public Forum

LD will use the March-April topicPF will use the March topic; Policy will debate the 2020-21 topic; and Parli debates will be run in accordance with Oregon rules. The Congressional Debates will follow the format set forth in the following pages and the top six speakers will earn a bid to the 2021 Tournament of Championship at the University of Kentucky at Lexington. All Asynchronous entries must be uploaded on Tabroom by midnight on Monday 2/22. If you are uploading to YouTube, students/coaches should make sure that the video privacy is set to "UNLISTED" as opposed to "PRIVATE". Students may also record via Loom, upload a file to Google Drive, or some other method. Students and coaches should make sure that the videos can be accessed/viewed by those who have the link.

We will be using the NSDA Campus platform and Tabroom.com to host the tournament. All competitors, coaches, and judges are required to have a linked Tabroom.com account.

We prefer you pay by credit card via our SchoolPay system. Be sure to fill out the amount on your fee sheet (invoice) in the blank provided and include your Schools Name: RCT SchoolPay

Judge Check-in: 7:30-8:00
Judge Training: 8:00-8:30
Judges please be on time to training. It will help us get the tournament started on time and get everything moving in the right direction.
