virtual TFA-Qualifying tournament
on October 23-24, 2020
We will be using the NSDA Sept/Oct topics for
PF: Resolved: The United States federal government should enact the Medicare-For-All Act of 2019
LD: Resolved: In a democracy, voting ought to be compulsory.
Policy will also be using NSDA's 2020-2021 resolution: Resolved: The United States federal government should enact substantial criminal justice reform in the United States in one or more of the following: forensic science, policing, sentencing.
Additionally, all Individual Events (DI,HI,Duet,Duo,INFO,OO,PO,POI,PR) prelims will occur asynchronously, while finals will be held live. IE preliminary recordings must be submit by Tuesday, October 20th by 11:59pm.
Foreign, Domestic and Novice Extemp will be held live throughout prelims, semis and finals. NX Prelims are on the topic of Europe.
Congress will use the TFA Fall 2020 Docket, items 11-15 for prelims, and 16-20 during finals.
