TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION DETAILS:

Registration opens on October 23rd and will remain open until 6:00 pm on Tuesday, November 19th.  Cost per competitor in all events is $20.00 and that will include a pasta lunch. 

Please notify Angela Thomas via email at falcondebatecoach@gmail.com by Tuesday, November 19th if you have a competitor with special dietary needs so that we can order food specifically for that competitor. 

Breakfast and snacks will be available for purchase.

Drops after November 19th @ 6:00 pm will incur the original registration cost of $20.00

Drops after Thursday, November 20th at 5:00 pm will incur the original registration cost plus a $10.00 drop fee.

Drops on Saturday for any reason will incur the original $20.00 registration cost plus a $25.00 inconvenience fee.

JUDGING REQUIRMENT:

1 judge for every 2 Policy/PF/LD entries or fraction thereof

1 judge for every 5 IE/Congress entries or fraction thereof

For every uncovered judge you will be charged $50. Any rounds missed by judges from your school, will result in an additional $50 fee per round. It is not our goal to make a profit from missed rounds; however, having present/competent judges is vital to running a successful tournament.

TOPICS:

Public Forum will use the November Topic: Resolved: The benefits of the United States federal government’s use of offensive cyber operations outweigh the harms.

Lincoln Douglas will use the November/December Resolution: Resolved: The United States ought to eliminate subsidies for fossil fuels.

Policy will use the 2019-2020 Topic: Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially reduce Direct Commercial Sales and/or Foreign Military Sales of arms from the United States.
