Dear Nevada Speech & Debate Coaches:

The Coronado Speech and Debate Team along with The Nevada Speech and Debate Association are proud to invite you to the Annual Nevada State Speech and Debate Tournament to be held March 8-9, 2019 at Coronado High School (1001 Coronado Center Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89052). You will find detailed information concerning the tournament along with entry forms, legislation, and a schedule of events on the tabs to the right.

During the tournament there will be concessions set up in the cafeteria. Entries for the State Tournament will be made through tabroom.com and registration is available now. Schools are allowed two entries per event in IE’s, Policy debate, Lincoln-Douglas debate, Public Forum, and three in Congressional Debate. There will only be one Open Division for each event. A student may enter in one debate event and up to two IE’s. No missed rounds due to student error will be rerun.

The important dates for this tournament are as follows:

Legislation sent to schools: Friday, February 22 by 3:00 PM

Entries due: Wednesday, March 6 by 3:00 PM

Final Substitutions/Drops Friday, March 8, at 10:00 AM
