Event Description:
This is an acting event based on an appropriate combination of body action, voice and interpretation. A scene may have 2 – 4 actors. The actor(s) should be consistent and believable in each role presented. The movements should reflect the character. Participants may present selections involving one or more characters. Costumes are optional, but are not to be considered as a major judging factor. In Duo selections, the actors should complement and interact with one another. In Classic Theater the scenes may be humorous or serious. In Classic Theater attention should be paid to authenticity of the performance: theme, language and theatrical conventions.
Presentations should be appropriate for all audiences.
