Event Description:
Extemporaneous Speech (Domestic and Foreign): Each student will perform a speech about current events. A topic is based on Foreign or Domestic affairs from December 1 to April 1 of the current school year. Students will receive their speech topic 30 minutes prior to their performance and can use published research materials to prepare for the speech. During the speech, students may use 1 card of notes, no larder than 4"x6". The speech is under 7 minutes in length.
