4. Congress Rules

Every school entering Student Congress MUST supply at least one (1) and at most four (4) pieces of satisfactory legislation. Coaches MUST submit legislation by the 14 February deadline. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, nor will any legislation submitted after 14 February be accepted. All congress entries will be waitlisted until the school has at least one piece of approved legislation submitted by the deadline. Remember to register all congress entries.

PRESIDING OFFICERS: Each school may designate up to two (2) of its Congress entries as Presiding Officer candidates, and only candidates so designated will be eligible to serve as PO at Grand Finals. PO designations must be made on Tabroom by registering the eligible students in Congress AND in “Presiding Officer.” DEADLINE: 9:00 p.m. on Friday, 14 February.
