Duo Poetry

Duo poetry is a partner event that has the rules of poetry with some aspects of duo. You must create a program of poetry using two or more poems with a central theme. Another option is to have two poems that have two sides of an opinion or statement and stage it like a debate. Each performer should have only the specific poems that they perform in the program. Duo Poetry Performer 1 performs their own poem, while Performer 2 performs their own poem; however, the scripts are intertwined like a POI script. Movement is the same as Poetry Interp with the 4x4 movement aspect. Blocking with BNB and movement is highly encouraged. Use the space to your advantage. Actors may not touch each other or look at each other directly as in duo interp. We are looking forward to seeing what you put together! Stay gnarly!
