WKU Fall Tournament
2023 — KY/US
WKU Round Robin Application forms
The Alexis Elliott Memorial Round Robin is a opening showcase of the seasons best returning students. Students who have attended the round robin in the past include:
2023 NFA and Grand Prix Champion Nicholas Wallenburg
2022 NFA National Champion Alex Webb and Runner-Up Tess Welch
2022 Grand Prix Co-Champion and 3 time winner of the Gorlok Gala Madelynn Einhorn
2021 NFA National Champion Andre Swai and Runner-up Sarah Stevenson-Peck
And those are just the national finalists - countless others have advanced to deep elimination debates and enriched their seasons with a completely unique season opening experience.
In addition please also find the form for the Rising Stars challenge, a relatively newcomer to the WKU Round Robin offerings intended to showcase continuing debaters from the novice/jv division and first year students.
This year will feature:
- awards for all participants in the round robin in addition to a traveling plaque for the champion
- In person competition (with an option for hybrid entries and judging) alongside a banquet
- skilled hired judges
- A traditional round robin decision disclosure policy (written ballots instead of oral disclosure and public announcement of placings)
