The 2024 Roundup at Ridgevue Invitational

Welcome to the 2024 Roundup at Ridgevue Invitational. We are excited and honored tohost you on our campus on Friday and Saturday, November 15th and 16th.

On Friday, we will hold the first two rounds of debate (WSD, LD, and PF, as well as 2 prelim sessions of Congress. This year, speech will be on Saturday. On Saturday, we will run 3 rounds of Speech, two more preliminary rounds of debate and 2 sessions of Congress, and students may double-enter in speech, unless they are in a draw event (Radio, Retold, and Extemp) or Panel. In speech, there will be no finals, as it is so early in the season, but awards will be presented to the top 6 students in each event. In debate, we will hold elimination rounds as indicated on the schedule/

On Friday, please have school buses drop off students in the north parking lot on Linden Road. We get out of school at 3:35 pm so it will be busy for about half an hour in the area of the school.Judges may park in the front lot facing Madison Rd. Please look for our host students who will direct you to the check-in location for judges and schools. On Saturday, the parking will be open.

We will offer concessions to students. There are no food options close near our campus so we hope your students will take advantage of our offerings or make sure they bring their own! For judges and coaches, we will feed you Friday dinner, have a light breakfast offering on Saturday, and lunch and dinner on Saturday as well. We will also have snacks and beverages available throughout each day in the judge lounge.
