There will be three divisions of debate for Congress, LD and PF (Varsity, JV and Novice). Divisions will be condensed if needed.

NOTE: Public Forum debate will follow MDTA rules and sides are set by tab (coin flip is NOT used).

Resolutions & Entry:
Lincoln-Douglas: November/December topic: The United States ought to adopt a wealth tax.

Public Forum: November/December topic: The United States should substantially reduce its military support of Taiwan.

Congress: Legislation link - TBD

Judges:
You are asked to provide one judge for every two entries LD or PF and 1 per 5 Congress.

Please make sure that judges arrive on time. Teams that arrive without their full complement of judges may be charged for hiring of additional judges or asked to drop entries to allow the tournament to run on time.

Registration: For your convenience, we will accept registrations via tabroom.com this year. You can find the site at http://swamprat.tabroom.com

Registration is due by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, November 5th. Drops can continue tabroom.com until 7:45 AM Saturday morning.

Fees: $13.50 per entry | Public Forum Team or Lincoln-Douglas debater. $6 per entry for congressional debate.
