Our school is the degree-granting institution for every student from our school competing in the 2020 Holy Cross Navy and Old Gold Debate and Speech Exhibition. Each student represents the school. Our school is responsible for every student, coach, and judge attending the virtual 2020 Holy Cross Navy and Old Gold Debate and Speech Exhibition under our school’s name and gives the students permission to compete and the judges permission to judge. There will be at least one school-approved chaperone who will always be accessible by the tournament staff if needed.  Our school understands that teams participating at the tournament may audio and/or visually record any competitor during debates given the virtual nature of the competition/online debating.  It is the responsibility of coaches to ensure that their debaters and parents are aware of and understand that such a tournament recording is permitted given our virtual platform and use of NSDA Campus. Our school shall be solely responsible for and complete all paperwork necessary to ensure compliance with applicable state laws regarding such recordings. We agree that if at any time the tournament discovers a student or school does not meet all the aforementioned criteria, the student(s) and/or school will be immediately disqualified from the tournament and forfeit any payments given to the tournament. 

World Schools division only:

In the World Schools division uniquely, we understand that students from our school are competing on a team with members from another school and we approve of this arrangement.
