Event Information
INTERNET IN CONGRESS, DEBATE, AND EXTEMP.:
Once again, the Heart of Texas District will try the pilot option of allowing internet access in Big Questions Debate, Congressional Debate (both House and Senate), Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking, Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Policy Debate, and Public Forum Debate. INTERPRETATION DOCUMENTATION:
The district tournament requires all coaches to complete the Interpretation Bibliography Form AND a Script Verification Cover Sheet (which requires a word-processed printed out cutting AND a highlighted copy of the original script with any transition words written clearly in ink) for each interpretation entry. The needed forms can be found HERE (pages 6 & 7).
DEBATE TOPICS:
We will be using the April topic for PF, the March/April LD topic, and the 2019-2020 CX topic. The Big Questions Debate Topic is the 2019/2020 topic: "Resolved: Objective morality exists." Please see the NSDA's Topic page for more details.
