Finals And Awards

Finals: Finals will be Cumulative.  In very small events, we may choose to have a single judge.

Sweepstakes:

Your best performing 15 students will count toward Sweepstakes.  

5pts for a “1” rank or a debate win

4pts for a “2” rank

3pts for a “3” rank or a debate loss

2pts for a “4” rank

1pt for all other ranks

Debate wins in public forum count as a 5, not a 10; ditto for losses.  Best 3 rounds debate rounds will be counted

 First, second, and third place will receive plaques.

Awards

As much as I believe that students needs applause, I fear that the lengthy schedule will hamper their ability to bask in the praise.  Awards will be grab and go.
