Fees and Deadlines

All schools must submit their contestant entry by Friday, March 20 at 3 pm. If you wish to add new entries after that date and time, please contact the Tournament Director. Selection titles/authors and judge information can be entered after this deadline, but you must enter the names of contestants, events, and partners (qualified entries and free entries) by 3 pm on Friday, March 20.

Fees:
Entry Fee: $8 per person per event
Hospitality Fee: $15 per school
Judge Bond: $30 per judge slot owed
Note: the judge bond is NOT $30 per judge you are bringing. Rather, $30 per judge for the number of judges required in a time slot. For example, if your school owes 2 debate judges per time slot and 3 speech judges per time slot, then your judge bond would be $150 ($30 x 5).

Your invoice will include the entry fee, a hospitality fee, and the judge bond. However, you need to SEPARATE the judge bond from the entry fee/hospitality fee. The judge bond will be refunded to you at the end of the tournament if your school has fulfilled its complete judge obligation.

Judge Information:
Entry deadline: Thursday, March 26 at noon
Requirements:
Congress: schools are not required to provide judges, but we will ask for volunteers.
Debate: 1 judge per every 3 entries (max number of judges owed is 3 per time slot)*
Duo/Duet: 1 judge per every 5 teams (max number of judges owed is 2 per time slot)*
Individual Events (excluding supplemental events): 1 judge per every 5 entries (max number of judges owed is 3 per time slot)*
*If your school is within 60 miles of the host site, the number of judges owed should be doubled.

Drop Fees and Deadlines:
Contestant drops before 3 pm on Tuesday, March 24 will result in a full refund of fees.
Drops after 3 pm on Tuesday, March 24 will result in a loss of entry fee plus a penalty of $8 per person per event.

Coaches will have access to make changes to their entry via tabroom until 5 pm on Wednesday, March 25. After 5 pm, all changes must be made in person at registration and will result in a loss of entry fee plus a penalty of $16 per person per event.

Titles and authors required for Dec, OI, HI, DI, Duo, DA
Provide by 9 am on Thursday, March 26.
