Norman North Mnemosyne

2019 — Norman, OK/US

Invitation Letter

Dear Colleague,

You and your team are cordially invited to the Nineteenth Annual Norman North Mnemosyne Speech and Debate Tournament on February 22-23, 2019. What's a Mnemosyne? Mnemosyne (ne-MOS-uh-nee) was the Greek goddess of memory - one of the nine Muses. When we remember why we chose her, we'll let you know. In the meanwhile, please note the following information, and contact loric@norman.k12.ok.us with questions:

1. Unlimited 6A, 5A, and Championship entries - as long as you have judges to cover the entry. All 6A PQ's must compete in Championship division. No novice events.

2. Due to Presidents’ Day, entries are due on tabroom.com by Wednesday, February 20 at 5:00 PM. Telephoned, faxed, or texted entries will not be accepted. Entry fees are as per the OSSAA manual. If you have not received a schedule by noon on Thursday, February 21, please contact loric@norman.k12.ok.us.

3. The website will be closed to changes after 5:00 PM on Wednesday, February 20. Any changes to your entry after that time should be emailed directly to loric@norman.k12.ok.us and will be subject to fees as per the OSSAA manual. Fees are the same for the Championship division.

4. Judge entries are due by Wednesday, February 20 at 5:00 PM. Uncovered judge requirements and fees are as per the OSSAA manual. Please enter debate judges in one debate pool only, even if they can judge other events.

You might try the parking lot in front of the PAC or the northeast and southeast corners of the back student lot.

10.  All Norman Public School rules must be followed: www.norman.k12.ok.us/student-policies. Infractions will result in disqualification at the very least. Please no food or drink other than water in classrooms. Students should not enter a classroom without a judge.
