Middle School Tournament

Mount Carmel Academy is pleased to invite your speech team to compete in The Mount Carmel Academy Middle School Speech Tournament which will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018.

 

Our annual tournament will be open to all 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in the greater N.O. Area.

 

We will do our best to hold a quality competition while maintaining an exciting educational environment in which to compete. We will offer 5 minute categories of: Prose Reading (binder), Poetry Reading (binder), Duo Reading (binder), and Dramatic/Humorous Interpretation (memorized), and Declamation (memorized). Awards will be given to the top speakers in each event. Students may enter 2 events.
