Basic Information about Panther Fun Invitational

Students should hang out in the Marian Stuckey Center and outside in the center of campus on Saturday and Sunday.  We are hosting a play on campus so please keep your voices down in the walkway between the theater and the center.

Judges should report to the Library on both days of the tournament.

Concessions are located on the opposite end of campus near the gym.  Everything is marked on the map provided in this packet

Please do not throw away food trash in the classrooms if at all possible.  There are trash cans in the hallways for that.  Please do not remove anything from the classrooms. Do not write on the white boards under any circumstances. We are given the space on campus out of the good will of our faculty and staff and your respect for that space allows us to run this tournament every year.

Lunch on Saturday and Sunday runs from 12:30 – 1:30 – go get food as soon as your round is over!  Entry fees include lunch for all competitors and judges but do not include the price of other items being sold at concessions. 

The acceptable wait time for competitors and judges after a round’s scheduled start time is 15 minutes.  If you are waiting at your room for a competitor or judge for longer than 15 minutes, it is your responsibility to text the tabroom (408-568-3262).  We have awarded double losses in the past. 

Saturday, November 11

8am - 8:45am - Registration for all schools

8:45am - 9:30am - Judge training for all judges.

9:30am - Round 1 in all events

11:30am - Round 2 in all events

12:30pm - 1:30pm - Lunch (you should eat lunch between rounds 2 and 3)

1:30pm - Round 3 in all events

3:30pm - Round 4 in all events

Sunday, November 12

 9:30am - Round 5 in all events

11:30am - Round 6 in all debate events + Semifinals or Finals in Speech

12:30pm - 1:30pm - Lunch (you should eat lunch between the second round of the day and Finals)

1:30pm - Finals
