Angel Debate Topics

Novice competitors will be using the NSDA's novice topics and case limitations when applicable:

Lincoln Douglas: Civil disobedience in a democracy is morally justified. ( GDSDA Novice resources available here. Please note that you may not use the sample case in the packet and that you are encouraged to find other materials.)

Policy: The United States federal government should substantially increase its security cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in one or more of the following areas: artificial intelligence, biotechnology, cybersecurity. (Novices may only use the Case Affs and Case Negatives from the NDCA packet and no other materials.)

Public Forum: The United States Federal Government should substantially increase its investment in high-speed rail. (This topic is the same as the Shadow topic and there are no additional resources provided by GDSDA.)
