Judges' Training

Three resources are provided from NSDA (and combined in an uploaded packet) for you to prepare for judging Big Questions:

2) NSDA Topic Primer

--> Note de-biasing technique on p.4 of the Judge Training document for information on using the judge primer to help eliminate personal bias from your decision-making

3) Sample Ballot

--> You will use the online ballot on Tab; this is just for you to know what to expect or to have a paper backup if you prefer.

--> Note the clarification I added on p. 3 of the Judge Training document that it is optional to provide oral feedback but, regardless, WRITTEN FEEDBACK IS REQUIRED. 

--> At a minimum, you must list the reason for decision ("RFD")
