WSD Motions

Rounds 1 & 2, teams will debate the motion:

This House would ban animal testing.

Info Slide: Animal testing, also called animal experimentation, is the use of animals in experiments to test the effects of new products, drugs, or medical procedures, on humans. 

Students should be prepared to debate both sides of the prepared motion.

Rounds 3 & 4 will both be impromptu motions with 30 minutes of prep time. 

Teams in Semi-finals will debate the motion: 

This House supports expanding the size of the US Supreme Court. 

Teams in Finals will debate the motion:

This House believes that “smart phones” make us less intelligent.
