World Schools motions

Note: All prepared motions are chosen from the NSDA February sample motions, in order to give teams equal access to prep materials. The impromptu motion will be chosen from the impromptu motions listed on the NSDA January or February sample motions documents (i.e. we will choose one of the 10 motions there.)

Round 1 (5:00 p.m. MST) - Impromptu motion. In order to give teams one hour of prep time before the start of the first round in the tournament, we will release this motion at 2:30 p.m. MST.

Round 2 (8:00 p.m. MST) - This House would restrict resource mining in developing countries

Round 3 (8:00 a.m. MST) - This House would restrict resource mining in developing countries.

Round 4 (11:00 a.m. MST) - This House believes that corporate philanthropy is a threat to democracy. 

Note: This round may be a semi-finals round, depending on the number of entries.

Finals round - This House would embrace alternative building technologies in the fight to end the global housing crisis.
