Invitation

Hello Coaches,

The Lake Travis High School Speech & Debate Team would like to invite your middle school students to compete asynchronously! We will offer to judge and give quality feedback to any recorded speech that is submitted. While we will not offer traditional awards, we will recognize students outstanding achievement in practice. We hope you have time to "attend" virtually, and please consider entering as many speeches as possible!

Registration will open on Friday, November 19th and video links may be submitted to Tabroom until Friday, December 17th. Please allow one week for judges to review submissions and submit feedback online. If entries merit, we will recognize the top three in any category.

Schools will be required to provide 1 judge for every 10 entries, or they may pay for a hired judge at $100 per judge. 

We will use a combination of school judges, hired judges and Varsity team members that have over 250 NSDA points and 2+ years of relevant experience. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know how we can help!
