Informative and Persausive Speaking Entry READ!

Hey Folks, 

Thanks for enter your students in the district meet for extemporaneous speaking.  Just a couple things about extemp in the virtual world.

1. Draw will be hosted in a zoom room.  Once we have a clear schedule we will post the link to draw here and we will share it in an email blast to coaches. 

2. Student will be expected to have their camera on during the entirety of draw - NO EXCEPTION!  If a student is found to have turned their camera off we will request that the student resolve this issue ONCE! After the first incident or failure to correct the issue within a timely manner will be considered a forfeit. 

3. As there is no way to verify either internet use for research or speech doc reading during speeches, we will listening to petitions, but without verifiable proof I simply hope we discuss the ethics with our students.  Judges will be informed to report any issues but NOT to use any perceived issues in their evaluations. Tab will make any decisions about penalizing outcomes.  

4. Location - as per our unanimous vote students will NOT have to be on campus for this event.
