Speech competition? What you should know!

If you are competing in the async part of this tournament, 
-you will need to be sure that you and your coach submit your video by Wednesday at 5:00 PM. 
-upload your video to a private channel on YouTube, and mark it so that anyone with the link can view the video - WE HAVE FOUND THAT OTHER PLATFORMS DO NOT WORK AS WELL AS YOUTUBE... - if you are using a different platform, you should let an outside source test your video
-send the link to your coach so that they can insert it into the registration form
-relax and get ready for the live part of the tournament

If you are competing in the synched (live) part of this tournament,
-you will need to be sure that you have a linked Tabroom.com account
-on Saturday you will receive your schematics by text or by email
-you will be following a regular tournament schedule! when you get your round assignment, click on the icon in the schematic and report to your room.  
-wait for the other contestants and the judge to arrive
-when you are not performing, be sure that your camera is on, but your mic is muted
-when the judge calls you to speak, unmute your mic and begin your performance
- you might want to check your camera and mic before the tournament begins; experiment with the best settings for sound and vision so that when the judge calls you to speak you can move immediately to those settings
-when the round is finished, close out the window and wait for the posting of your next round
