Congressional Debate and Individual Event Schedule

Due to the lower than anticipated numbers in both Congress and IE's, we have decided to move to a more traditional format. Congress will be held on Friday night with prelims and a final session. We will hold synchronous IE's on Saturday only. Duo will be held asynchronously and instructions for video uploads will be given next week. Extempers may now enter both extemp events if they so choose. Double entered students are responsible for getting to rounds in a timely fashion.

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 5

4:30pm-6:30pm      Congress Prelims (Rooms will have fewer than 10 contestants in them)
    
7:00pm-10:00pm         Congress Finals

INDIVIDUAL EVENTS SCHEDULE 

All events will be offered synchronously. Contestants are encouraged to move swiftly from one event to the other if they are in multiple events. Contestants may only enter in one or two events per pattern

   3:00 pm       Elim 1— Section A (Duo Interp, OO, Prose, DI, FX)

   4:30 pm       Elim 1— Section B (HI, Poetry, DX, POI, Info)

   6:00 pm       Elim 2—Section A (Duo Interp, OO, Prose, DI, FX)

   7:30 pm       Elim 2-Section B (HI, Poetry, DX, POI, Info)

   9:00pm        Virtual Awards Assembly—Individual Events
