Clear Falls TFA vIQT and TOC Speech Qualifying Tournament

2020 — Online, TX/US

Schedule

2020 Knight Invitational Competition Schedule

Asynchronous Speech Events (Informative, Original Oratory, Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Programmed Oral Interpretation, Prose, Poetry, Duo Interpretation, and Duet Acting)

Please submit links to published performance videos by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4th.

Asynchronous rounds will be judged during the tournament week with final results being posted on Saturday, December 12th.  TFA qualifying events will be paneled with 3 judges as long as they meet the threshold for TFA qualifying points.  If entries are below 10, but within a reasonable number of reaching 10, Clear Falls students may be entered to ensure we reach qualifying levels, but they will not be advanced to Final rounds.  If entries are far below 10, we may combine events (like Duo and Duet) and award points in the category with the most initial entries.  If there is not reasonable combination available, we will allow those schools with entries in that event to drop them free of charge.

Judging of Asynchronous IEs will be done as follows:

Rd. 1/Prelims on Tuesday, December 8th (ballots will be pushed out around 9 a.m. and will be due back by 9 p.m.)

Rd. 2/Semis on Wednesday, December 9th (ballots will be pushed out around 9 a.m. and will be due back by 9 p.m.)

Finals on Thursday, December 10th (ballots will be pushed out around 9 a.m. and will be due back by 9 p.m.)
