The Ed Long Invitational at The Hockaday School

2020 — virtual.txfa.org, TX/US

A Note on Alternate Platform Useage

While we understand, and know, the challenges of conducting debate and performances in an online format we must insist that all competition be held on the platform used for the tournament. That means that no judges or competitors should create a zoom, hangouts, or any other platform for the purpose of competition. If a judge or competitor does create a debate or performance space on an alternate platform not part of the Ed Long Invitational, individuals participating in that space will be subject to the following actions.

1) Disqualification from the tournament for all competitors involved

2) If the judge is a school entered judge, that school will be fined a missed round fee and the judge will be removed from the system, possibly resulting in uncovered judge fees as well.

3) If the judge is a hired judge, that judge will be fired.

We are very serious about this! If you have connection issues please contact tab through email or the help ticket system.
