Policy Debate will be debating the 2020 - 2021 Resolution – Resolved: The United States federal government should enact substantial criminal justice reform in the United States in one or more of the following: forensic science, policing, sentencing. 

Novice CX will utilize the Novice packet.

 

Varsity LD and Novice LD Debate will be debating the September/October NSDA Resolution  – Resolved: In a democracy, voting ought to be compulsory.

 

Varsity PF and Novice PF Debate will be debating the September/October NSDA Resolution - Resolved: The United States federal government should enact the Medicare-For-All Act of 2019.

 

 

World Schools - 

 

Round 1: This House would "defund the police."
Round 2: This House regrets the dominance of the two-party system in American politics.
Round 3: Impromptu
Semis: Impromptu 
Finals: This House would replace human judgement with computer algorithms in criminal sentencing decisions.

 

The Novice Extemp topic area is US Foreign Policy.
