Dear Coaches,

The Mount Carmel Academy Speech and Debate Team is pleased to invite you and your team to compete in our annual tournament November 10^th and 11^th, 2017. We will be offering the following events: Declamation, Extemporaneous Speaking (Jr/Sr), Impromptu Speaking (Jr/Sr), Original Oratory, Oral Interpretation (Jr/Sr), Program Oral Interpretation, Dramatic Performance, Humorous Performance, Duo Reading, Duet Acting, Novice Lincoln Douglas Debate, Advance Lincoln Douglas Debate, Public Forum Debate (open division), Policy Debate (novice and advance if enough entries) and Congress. As an experiment, we are going to offer a supplemental event called “Improvisational Interp.” Please see guidelines on page 3.

Registration is located on tabroom.com. Parking is available in the front horse-shoe and in the parking lot. Enter the parking lot from Louisville Street. Additional parking is located across the street in the Robert’s parking lot beyond the signs that say MCA parking starts here. Please do not park in any reserved spots.

The deadline for entries is Monday, November 6, 2017. The last day to add or drop entries without a fee will be Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

PLEASE NOTE: We pre-assign judges, and need accurate names entered into the registration system. If you are unable to provide the number of judges required, we can hire a judge for you at your request. A $25 fee will be assessed to any school who does not pick up their assigned ballots. You can sign up on tabroom.com to receive notifications when we post the rounds.
