You are all cordially invited to the Rushmore District's Big Idea's Debate!!

Some notes:

1. The debate will discuss the following resolution - Resolved: Science leaves no room for free will.

2. There are lots of resources that I have included on the Tabroom website including the following:

a. Manual from the National Speech & Debate Association

b. Topic analysis for novice and advanced students

c. Sample cases (that could even be used by your students if you wish) and evidence packets that all can use

d. Ballot that will be used and a judge primer that can help judges

3. We will follow the following schedule:

3:30- Judge Meeting

3:45- Round 1

4:45- Round 2

Lunch Break (Food for judges provided from funds from NSDA)

6:15- Round 3

7:15- Paperwork for everyone

7:30- Awards
