Your team has been hand selected and formally invited to participate in The National Debate Forum Round Robin hosted at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.  Since 2012, Strake Jesuit’s partnership with Texas Debate Collective has set the new standard in judging and hospitality for TOC-qualifying Lincoln Douglas debate tournaments and round robins.  Now, in 2016, we are excited to partner with National Debate Forum to offer the same unparalleled judging and hospitality for Public Forum debate.
 
We are committed to making public forum debate a more accessible activity.  To that extent, Strake Jesuit College Preparatory will provide travel assistance, housing, and food upon request. Participation in the SJ/NDF Round Robin is a tremendous reward for your hard work and well deserved success.  At Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, we don’t believe that rewards should come with strings attached.  If you believe that attending our round robin will preclude your team from travelling to other tournaments in the future, please let us know and we will do our best to help.
 
Thanks to the generosity of Strake Jesuit’s administration and parents, we are pleased to be awarding 2 iPad Pros to the winning team and 2 iPad Airs to the runner up.  The iPads will feature a custom engraving commemorating the inaugural SJ/NDF round robin.  All competitors will also receive generous gifts for your participation in our round robin.
 
The NDF Public Forum Round Robin will start on Saturday, December 17th and conclude on Sunday, December 18th.  Each round will have two judges contracted from the TDC LD pool and we will be using the January 2017 NSDA Public Forum topic.  The entry fee is $75 per team and we kindly ask that you provide one experienced judge.  This December, be a part of what others say could not be done by joining Strake Jesuit College Preparatory and NDF in revolutionizing Public Forum debate.
