School Fee: $50.00 per School

Lincoln-Douglas and Congress: $10.00 per Participant

Policy and Public Forum: $20.00 per Team

Speech Events: $10.00 per entry

Judge Requirements:

1 Judge for Every 2 Policy/ LD Debate Teams

1 Judge for Every 3 Public Forum Teams

1 Judge for Every 5 Congress Competitors

1 Judge for Every 5 Speech Entries

 

Policy Judges may only judge Policy / LD Debates

LD Judges may only judge LD / Policy Debates

Public Forum Judges may only judge Public Forum Debates

All judges may judge speech events


 

Refreshments:

Snacks will be available for purchase throughout the tournament.

Meals and refreshments will be provided for judges in the judge hospitality area.

Topics and Legislation:

Congress Legislation - WSFA Winter Packet

Lincoln/Douglas Topic - Resolved: Public colleges and universities in the United States ought not restrict any constitutionally protected speech.

Public Forum Topic - Resolved: In order to better respond to international conflicts, the United States should significantly increase its military spending.

Policy Topic - Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its economic and/or diplomatic engagement with the People’s Republic of China.
