Our next PFCL tournament is scheduled for October 24, 2015. Special thanks to Mr. Lanning and  Mr. Medoff to hosting us at Pennsbury West. This is a PCFL tournament for PCFL member schools. This is a PCFL major tournament – we will offer both varsity and junior varsity levels of competition.  Registration fees are $1 per student.

Registration is via Tabroom.com and is due by 4pm on Thursday, October 22, 2015.  No exceptions!

Lincoln-Douglas Topics

PLEASE NOTE: JV LD will use the NSDA Novice topic: Resolved: Civil disobedience in a democracy is morally justified. Varsity LD will use the September-October NSDA LD topic: Resolved: Adolescents ought to have the right to make autonomous medical choices. Returning sophomore LDers who debated novice topic last year are asked to enter in Varsity in October.

Congress

Congressional debate in the varsity house will start with bill number one.  The junior varsity house will pick up with bill number 10.

Judges

Each team is required to fulfill their judging quotas as follows:

·         One speech judge covers up to five speech/congress entries;

·         One Lincoln-Douglas judge covers up to two LD entries;

·         One policy judge covers up to two policy entries;

·         One public forum judge covers up to two PFD entries.
