DIXIE DEBATE TOURNAMENT 

Thank you for your interest in becoming part of this annuale tournament. We strive to create a good tournament to start off all your seasons with. Our main goal for this tournament is to give vital experience to competitiors for them to learn and expand their debating and speaking skills. 

---THINGS TO KNOW---

-When registuring for the tournament please do not registure judges under tabroom, we will take tally of your judges at the tournament, registuring them on tab room will cause delays in the way the tournament is run

-Congress is run as a debate event

-Extemp draw is at 8:15 AM saturday even though I.E. round 1 starts at 8:30 AM 

-DI & HI : these events in the past have been vary hard to keep split for the low number of entries, please inform your students it is better for the tournament as a whole to double enter and keep our numbers in events high 

-Double entry is not only accepted it is encouraged, this tournament is to give competitors expereince and they should get to compete in multiple events (it is not the responsiblity of the tournament to make sure double entries arive to their room on time) 

-LD novice topic rules and restrictions as set forth by the NSDA will be in effect
