Welcome/opening remarks: 8:45

Round 1: 9:00

Round 2: 10:15

Lunch: 11:30

Round 3: 12:30

Round 4: 2:00

Awards/Public Debate: 3:30

Departure: 5:00

Topics

The hate speech topic will be debated on both prop/opp during rounds 1 & 2.  One of these topics will be the subject of the final public debate between the top two teams after four rounds.

·        The freedom of speech should not protect hate speech.

·        The US should approve the release of genetically-modified insects.

·        The US should pay ransom for hostages.

·        The Obama community college plan will do more harm than good.

Registration:

Please register on Tabroom by Friday, May 1^st at 5pm. 

Schools may register 6 teams. Any additional teams registered will be waitlisted.

Food:

Lunch fee: $8

Coaches should bring cash or check payable to Oaks Christian for the number of lunches ordered.
