Welcome to this year’s No-Limits Novice Rumble! As the name implies, this is meant as an opportunity for novices to experience a tournament without the limitations of the NDCA or other regional packet. All arguments are fair game.

The tournament will offer 5 preliminary debates, followed by elimination dates. 20 or fewer team (eligible to clear) and the tournament will break to semis; 21-39 teams will break to quarters. 40 or more teams will break up to a full octas.

All entries are waitlisted pending payment.

Schools must cover their judging obligations. School owe 5 rounds (1 full judge) per every two entries; 3 rounds for any single entry. Tournament reserves the right to drop any uncovered entries. Novice judges must have at least 2 full years of high school policy debate or be an adult coach.

All proceeds from the tournament will go to sponsorships for the 2026 June Summer Workshop.
