Tournament Information

Tournament Check-in -- The Commons.

Bentley School welcomes you to its fourth annual Middle School Invitational on Saturday, December 13, 2025. The tournament will be held at the Upper School campus at 1000 Upper Happy Valley Road, Lafayette, CA 94549.(Lafayette! Not our Oakland campus!)

Students in 6th-8th grade are welcome to compete in Middle School Congress, Oratory, Informative, Impromptu, Declamation, Humorous, Dramatic, or Duo Interpretation. We will collapse to prepared speech and interpretation if individual event divisions are small. Entry fees are $35 per student and include a pizza lunch. Congressional debaters may not double-enter. High school students are eligible to participate as judges. Adult chaperones (coaches/parents/teachers) are required to remain on campus. The high school judges will also need chaperones.
