Welcome

Mitchell High School is excited to be inviting you to the 36th McGovern Speech Tournament! We are offering all South Dakota events, including POI.

We have a new school and all under one roof! Yippee! Registration will be in the PAC and parking should be plentiful. You may enter through the PAC and a student guide will show you how to get to the Commons area for your campground for the day! The concessions/meal will be for dinner/snacks and is right at the Commons area for you. This is very close to the PAC and the PAC Education Wing. Judges and coaches eat for free. We accept cash, check but no cards. At registration, you will have maps to maneuver through the building and we will have a judges/coaches lounge as well.

Dinner will consist of the usual: Totchos, Fettuccine Alfredo, Spaghetti Bake, Farmer Chow (breakfast for dinner!), and then snacks such as chips, fruit, carrots/celery/broccoli w/dip, cookies/bars….and of course…Pumpkin Cobbler!
