BS Congressional Debate Tournament

WELCOME

CONGRESSIONAL DEBATE Tournament

We would like to welcome you to Big Spring on October 29, 2025, for a day of Congress.

Round 1 will begin at 9:00 am

Lunch 12:30-1:30

Finals 1:30- 4:00

Legislation will be posted by October 10. We want to use UIL Regional bills. Please submit your Region and the bills you would like to use. Depending on the entry, we will choose one or two from each region. There will be a TOTAL of 8 bills for the day.

We will break a final house of the top competitors, AND a final house(s) of others for practice. EVERYONE will get both rounds for practice. The Top House will compete for trophies.

Entry Fees

$10.00 per speaker.
