We are pleased to welcome you to our Youngsville campus for a one-day speech tournament. Please pay attention to which events are available in each pattern. Students may enter no more than 2 events in each pattern.

Pattern A Events: Varsity & Novice Dramatic, Varsity & Novice Impromptu, Oratory, Oral Interp (Open event), Novice Prose, Novice Poetry

Pattern B Events: Varsity & Novice Humorous, Varsity & Novice Duo, Varsity & Novice Extemp, Informative, Declamation, Program Oral Interp

Note: An event must have at least 8 entries to qualify for a final round.

Extemp Topic Areas:

Round 1- The Government Shutdown

Round 2- European Affairs

Round 3- Immigration and Law Enforcement

Finals- Israel and Palestine
