Steady your sea-legs with the January/February topics with a guaranteed three rounds of congress, and four rounds of speech and debate.

Debate Events: Public Forum, Big Questions, Policy, Lincoln Douglas, Congress

Speech Events: Original Oratory, Informative, Impromptu, National Extemp, International Extemp, Combined Interps

Topics: Students will be debating the January/February topics for PF/LD; Congress Legislation (see the docket posted); BQ and CX will be using the National topic.

Double Entry: Students may double enter in Speech Events (not Extemp) at their own risk.

Tournament Schedule:

Friday January 16th:

• Registration/Check-in: 2:45-3:00pm

• Judge Meeting:3:15pm

• Round 1 Speech & Debate: 3:30-5:30pm

• Round 2 Speech & Debate: 6:00-8:00pm

• Congress Round 1: 4-6:30pm

Saturday January 17th:

• Check-in: 7:15-7:30am

• Judge Meeting: 7:45am

• Round 3 Speech & Debate: 8:00-10:00am

• Congress Round 2: 8:30-11:00am

• Round 4 Speech & Debate: 10:30am-12:30pm

• Elim Round Speech & Debate: 1:00-3:00pm

• Elim Round 2 Speech & Debate: 3:00-5:00Pm

• Congress Finals: 12:30-3:00pm

• Awards to Follow! Top five entries in each event to receive awards. Sweepstakes awards for the top two schools.
