Tournament Schedule + Pattern Information

The latest version of the tournament schedule can be found here. We may change the patterns/pattern information based on registration numbers.

We will advance to the first elimination round that grants TFA points in all events.

Pattern A: Extemp (DX, IX, NX), OO, DA, DI, POE

Pattern B: INFO, DUO, HI, POI, PR, IMP

Cross entries: Students may cross enter in as many events as they can sprint to. We will not hold rounds for cross-entered students. Judges will be instructed to remain in the competition room until 75 minutes after the round start time to facilitate all students performing in that room, and no later.

Below is our recommendation for cross entry:

Debate cannot cross enter with Speech, other than Congressional Debate.

Congress: Pattern A only. Students may register for Pattern B, but will need to take points of personal privilege to compete in Pattern B events. Rounds will not be held for cross entered Congress students beyond 75 minutes after the round start time.

Speech: As many as you can make within 75 minutes. We recommend no more than 2 per pattern.
