Gulf Coast District Qualifier

for the 2025 National Tournament

Welcome to Gulf Coast NSDA's district tournament!

This year the meet will be held at La Vernia High School.

Congress legislation is due January 15th. There are no exceptions. Please email legislation in the correct format to Noah Recker at nrecker@lvisd.org. Legislation in an incorrect format will not be accepted.

Entries are due February 10th by 5pm. All schools need to email single entry intent letters to nrecker@lvisd.org by February 10th as well. Also due are a list of candidates you would like considered for the world school teams.

The following procedure will be used in selecting world school members in this order. Special care will also be taken for students that prefer world schools that meet the conditions listed below.

-Previous national world school experience, previous national tournament experience in another event, alternate in an event.

9am - BQ/LD Round 2

9:45am - IE 1

12:45pm - Debate 2 / Duo 2 / LD & BQ 3

2:30pm - IE 3

4pm - Debate 3 / Duo 3 / LD & BQ 4

5:45pm - IE Outround 1

7:15pm - Debate 4 / Duo Outround / LD & BQ Outround

Saturday February 22

8:30am - Debate Outround 1

10:15am - IE Finals

11:45am - Debate Outround 2

12:45pm - Debate Outround 3
