Bienvenidos a Miami!

The University of Miami Debate Team and the School of Communication invite you to the Hurricane Debates held at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida on January 2-5, 2015!

The Hurricane Debates is a college policy debate tournament and will offer 10 rounds in the Varsity division – yes, you read that correctly – over four days of competition and 8 rounds in the Junior Varsity and Novice divisions.

The Hurricane Debates will be sanctioned by ADA and CEDA.

We hope you will join us for some fun in the sun and bring your talents to South Beach!

**First 4 rounds in Varsity will be pre-paired; First 2 rounds in JV/Novice will be pre-paired.

**For Monday, we are trying to get rooms in the new Student Center’s ballrooms, which would allow larger audiences to watch the debates.
