The Topeka West High School Forensics squad would like to invite you and your squad to compete at our tournament on March 4-5, 2022. At this time, we plan to host our tournament in-person, but we will inform you ASAP to any changes in our tournament format.

We will be offering the following events on Friday: Public Forum Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate and Student Congress will be held on Friday only.  

We will be offering the following events on Saturday:  Original Oration, Informative 10, Domestic Extemp., International Extemp., Humorous Interp., Dramatic Interp., Duo Interp, Prose, Poetry, POI, and Impromptu  

Fees are $5 per entry, and $10 for PFD and DUO entries.

Judges: At this time we expect to fill our judging needs with members of our community, but head coaches and assistants should be prepared to fill in as needed.

Sweepstakes will be based on your top 20 across all SPEECH EVENTS.

The top six in LD, and PFD will receive medals after 4 rounds of power matched competition.  The top six competitors in Individual Events will advance to finals and receive medals for their placement.  The top six senators and representatives will also receive medals, and gavels will be given to the outstanding presiding officers in each chamber.  The top two schools in sweepstakes points will receive trophies.
