The Region 6 debate tournament will be held February 26^th in person at Park City High School.

Registration begins at 7:30am, judge training begins at 8am, pairings will be released at 8:15am, and rounds will begin promptly at 8:30am. Barring catastrophe, we will conclude by 3:30pm.

All balloting will be completed online. All judges will be required to bring a tablet or laptop from which to complete their balloting.

We highly encourage diligent mask wearing.

Judging Requirements

PF/LD/Policy  – One judge for every two entries

IEs – One judge for every five entries

Congress – One judge per competing school

Relevant Reminders

State Qualification: The top 50% of schools in tournament sweepstakes will qualify a full slate of 30 students to State (e.g., a PF team counts as two students). Remaining schools will qualify all entries which place in the top ten in their event at Region.

Entry Limits: All schools are allotted 4 entries per event.

Topics: PF will use the NSDA March topic, and LD will use the NSDA March/April topic

Concessions: Will be offered.

Judges: Will be well fed.
