International Extemp, United States Extemp, Oratory, Informative, Storytelling, Humorous, Dramatic, Duo, and POI, and Impromptu

 

Live Events, Saturday morning-afternoon, Oct 30:
LD (novice & varsity), CX (novice & varsity), PF (novice & varsity), BQ (single division), and Congressional Debate (novice and varsity)

All student participants and all judges must have linked Tabroom accounts. 

Speech judges should be prepared to be available for all rounds 10/29.  Debate judges should be prepared to be available for all rounds 10/30.

Tournament Specifics:

Students may enter one debate event and up to TWO (2) speech events.  Congress entries may  enter Congress and speech, but NOT debate.

Entry fees of $8/student, Duo/Team Debate is $16/team

Drop fee of student entry fee will be assessed if drops are made after 3pm 10/28.

Please pay attention to judging requirements on Tabroom. 

Please make checks payable to CCPS with Speech and Debate in the memo line.

Schools may submit up to TWO (2) pieces of legislation for Congress, due by 3pm 10/19.

Top 3 in each event will receive medals, with finalists being recognized.

LD will use the novice topic and the September/October topic for varsity.

CX and BQ will use the 2021-2022 topics.

PF will use the September/October Topic.
